Maybe he didn’t get much radio play out here but I know more than enough people that was hip to his music and movement

shyt I even fell off his music after mailbox money but would still check out his interviews etc because he always dropped gems and had dope perspective

This should be a wake up call to young people to really broaden and elevate our minds through reading, traveling etc

Because while many of us kinda waste our lives away entertaining bullshyt here’s someone who really was striving to grow and improve every chance he got and he got his life took away that’s crazy

But yeah you may not have previously heard his music blasting out of cars like you might hear now but that’s to be expected

I think he meant to say that, since his death, people who were once unacquainted with Nipsey have been introduced to a man whose music and life has had a profound impact on them. I'm one of them. Having only heard a couple songs from him, I dismissed him as a Snoop wannabe and didn't pay him any mind. Only now, being educated on what he was building and the depth of his lyricism, I'm stunned that I was this ignorant for so long. A strange analogy, given how different they were, but I almost feel like McNulty when he and the police began searching Stringer's condo after Omar murdered him. I'm like, "wow, who the fukk was this? How could I have been so off base?" The more I learn about how brilliant he was, the sadder I feel.:francis:

Something obviously had to have happened between this guy and nipsey prior to the shooting

Combine that with this guy’s reported mental instability and here we are

Everyone should understand why nipseys people would not want to put that information out there

And no one is gonna sign up for a murder for hire and kill the target in broad daylight in front of cameras and witnesses with no mask on so that’s out of the question

Only other possibility is this dude was just that crazy and this was totally random but I doubt that was the case

I was honestly thinking the same thing. shyt is real ambitious and dangerous at the same time.

I'm actually gonna pray that no ignorant shyt pops off. But I know that if a cat took a loss from somebody from another set, they might not give a fukk about doing some shyt.
