Security does matter. I'm not talking about the homies but professional security. They would have spotted danger well before it got close and they'll escort you away if something isn't right. Rappers should have security when they move in public.

Exactly. It matters. real security is look at body language, eyes, hands and assessing everything. Even when it comes to signing autographs and taking pics, security has no issue being the party pooper and saying when enough is enough because it’s time to go.

The thing about security...you can't just hire the homies. You need people who run towards shots and aren't afraid to put their body in harms way...which means you need ex military type people usually. It takes YEARS before Secret Service members get assigned to protect a president. And even then they still have fukk ups. Remember a few years ago when a dude with a gun was inside an elevator with President Obama? Secret Service were there, obviously nothing happened...but that should have NEVER happened in the first place.

It’s crazy cause when it first happened, but the extent of the injuries weren’t yet known. I didn’t care if I got a reply or not, but I was legit planning on messaging this dude one day after he recovered just letting him know that I was rooting for him.

This one hurt as if I actually knew him personally. I almost cried this morning listening to Victory Lap and reading/watching Nas, Meek, Game, Snoop, etc reactions. Watching him on Izm Radio, Breakfast Club, and other interviews he did you could see he was a solid individual. Bul was a real good dude it ashame.

I think he represents all black men who came from a undesirable background and still inspired and thrived in spite, not because of it. Sadly, we can see ourselves or people we know in a similar end....
