His death has me feeling some type of way after seeing how people talking how much he inspired them. I Honestly was nott even a fan of this bruddas music though i did plan of getting in to his music but I always admired him from a distance, seeing how he was moving and breh had the perfect rags to riches and give back story. Feel for his fam deeply, cant imagine the shyt they going through.

Defunding education and public programs due to white flight following school integration, Reagan's drug war and mass incarceration, lack of opportunities and racial policies like redlining as well as violent and confrontational policing are what led to gangs forming in the first place.


There are obvious historical events that led LA to become the way it is and separating those circumstances from the conditions that exist today leaves people confused on why these things happened. Look at the history and it will explain everything to you.

Nipsey was clearly aware of how these types of problems affected the area because he was taking very prolific steps in fighting the symptoms of these issues (reinvestment, education, opportunities).

If he tried it the very day before it likely doesn’t happen
If it happens the next day or even an hour later maybe he dont even get that close
Dude was just taking pics with kids and chalking it up like many of us have done. Imagine being at a cookout with family chilling in the front while everyone in the back and a dude you know crazy but you thought was one of your own violate you while everyone relaxing. It’s cold but it’s reality; sometimes a dude being stupid can change the world

The sad part about it, young breh's die like this EVERY DAY. They got kids, mothers and fathers. Some young, some old.

But it all goes un noticed or talked about nationally. We mourn Nip because of his celebrity, but again, shyt like this happens every day.

nah nipsey is mourned because of his contribution to black society.

so the dude that shot nipsey i'm thinking went there in the store first to see if nip was there and if he was rollin deep. knew he was gonna get checked cuz nobody fukk wit him as a snitch. left calm and came back to kill him. i think he specifically went there lookin for nip in the first place.

It's crazy as fukk how there wasn't any security there. Dude came back THREE fukkin times. Nip prolly coulda survived the first wave if there was some security there. You can see he had his head up after the first shots. Then when dude came back that looks like when he got hit with the head shot. But even after the 3rd time, it looks like nip was still moving his head. shyt is just sad. Prolly laying there knowing it's the end and there's nothing he can do. It doesn't matter how many people love you, all it takes is one clown who doesn't value his own life to take you out.
