The whole thing I take away from this is that man is gone but the mission remains. The same people Nip tried to help and uplift are still out there. People need to get up and in whatever positive way they can, continue the mission Nip was on. Ima be real I never gave a listen to his music. But by reading everyone’s accounts it’s very moving. So I hope I don’t offend anyone but ima give victory lap a spin. My man been told me to check it out I was on my yes sure shyt. But ima play it and soak up whatever vibes I get.

Damn man...wish I didn’t see the videos / pics. shyts bad enough, but dude who had the post about black men’s destiny seeming tied to gun violence said something that hit home. The sense of loss looking at those pics / vids, knowing what Nip was doing for his community, is that same feeling I had seeing the aftermath of MLK and Malcolm’s assassinations.

Not to be morbid but it’s crazy how the two pics / videos that came out are remarkably similar to the aftermath of MLK and Malcolm. When they were working on Nip, it’s more than just him it was the hoes and dreams of a neighborhood. We’ve gotta carry on that legacy.

Also, brehs need to realize the gravity of what happened here. Nip was making moves in real estate that could have served as a model across the country. Parts of LA are gentrifying and with the olympics and the new stadium in Inglewood coming, the potential in those areas is huge right now. Sounded like Nip had a vision for not just himself capitalizing on it, but his whole hood. That’s just...yeah. He’s gone now but the legacy has to carry on.
