*Nip and his people confronted dude, and he told Nip that he's out there trying to make money. He then asked Nip for some money. Nip told him I'm not giving you money but I can show you how to get it. The conversation is heated, young dude bounces.


*Young dude comes back with the pistol, obviously catches everybody off guard, Nip is killed.



We'll see how closely this matches what actually happened after the dust settles.

All this about "leave and never come back", is misplaced, this is how he lived his life, on his own terms, in his own neighborhood, because that was who he was. He wasn't stupid, nor senseless. This was part of who he was, you can't give back and not be present, the realities of his life, and his neighborhood, this was always a possibility. It's tragic, and sad, and frustrating, but there are no easy answers, and for sure the answer isn't to blame him, or the fact he had a business, multiple endeavors in Crenshaw, that was WHY he was loved, that was why we all feel his music. Lets not act like he sat around on corners in Crenshaw, and this is somehow his fault.
