It does get pretty bad but by then you won't really care, you just kinda gotta be aware that beyond a certain point you are no longer watching one of the best shows on TV. There's this transition from that to a bunch of writers trolling the shyt out of you about halfway through lol, if you keep that in mind the last couple seasons are actually fun to watch.

Like others have said though, there's a point where you kinda feel like the writers had a bet going to see how far they could take the show w/o TV Guide classifying it as science-fiction. Some of the plotlines after season 3 are just fukking... twisted.

Like others said, it does go downhill in the later seasons, but you should still watch it. Definitely a great series. Very underrated imo.

Made it to season 6, probably could have dragged it out even longer being that it was so popular. I tried to avoid it for a long time when it was out, got hooked right when the carver shyt popped off.

I just remembered NY from flava flav shyt ended up on the show for some reason.
