Your better off buying one of those cheaper retro handhelds off amazon since hes 5 and will most likely break it. Plus can add any roms you want..

We gotta get over treating it like a faberge egg. Nintendo makes THE most durable consoles on the market. There's a reason a damn gamefly survived a bombing and is in the Smithsonian museum still playing Tetris.
There's a reason you can hit an n64 cartridge with a baseball bat 100 yards and pop in it like you just got it from the store and it works.
You have to do some diabolical shyt to get a Nintendo not to work. Don't get me wrong there's some bricked consoles (I've had 2) and there's shyt that happens like controllers not syncing and your general wear and tear. But this notion of treating it with kid gloves has to go. And trust me my og day 1 grey switch has seen lots of drops and shyt.
