I’d put both at the same level. Both are good games. 1 having the better narrative & story. 2 having a more refined combat system. But both games do have similar flaws tbh.

I like the 2nd better because it's more of a heavy anime trope type game. the combat is also addicting to me, and I enjoy the affinity charts for the different rare blades.
Chronicles X (which isn't on switch maybe for now) I REEEEAALLLY enjoyed for the exploration. and I think the beasts were far bigger too like titans from what I remember. Haven't played in a long while so I think I may not be remembering too well on that.
Chronicles 1 I do enjoy and haven't beat it yet, the battle system is more so like chronicles X and for me it's kinda hard lol. I've seen some say Chronicles 2 combat is harder but I don't know bout that one. The stories all seem to have a depressing tone about them, but they're pretty solid to follow till the end.
was playing XC1 the other day and was just leveling up and doing side quests for a bit because I for some reason can't seem to beat these certain lizards to progress.
The gameplay reminds me of FFXII, where it's automates the minutiae of entering specific battle commands. Does it utilize a similar gambit-like system?

seems very tactics like. It doesn't really play out like that. certain actions you imput will trigger your party member to do something accordingly.

Man it used to be if I lost something like forgot the last place I put it, I could sleep on it. I'd have a dream where I remembered where I last put it.
I lost a key to a bike lock back in the day and couldn't think for the life of me where it was. And I looked for it for a day or 2 and couldn't remember. I went to sleep and had a dream where I remembered setting it beside/behind a tv in my room. I had one of them old computer desks like this
And I just had a Samsung tv or whatever on it, this was before flatscreens.
Sure enough I woke up, walked over there, turned the tv a Lil and the key was right there.
I used to find mad shyt by sleeping on it. It's not too often I lose shyt.
