Yup. Game is methodical and combo heavy.It’s got a fairly steep learning curve. I’ve played a few MH games and I just spent like 20 minutes customizing my controls and figuring out how to move again. You have to learn to be methodical with your actions and respect the monsters because they hit hard. Once you learn your weapon and figure out all the game mechanics you move with a lot more fluidity and start doing combos and all the other cool shyt
One thing about the demo is that it actually takes out one of the best parts of the overall gameplay loop by using preset characters for each weapon type. There’s a ton of cool weapons & armor for you to craft in the full game with the loot you get from monsters so when you’re playing as your own avatar, you’re driven to explore the different ecosystems and fight all the crazy creatures you come across because you wanna see what their parts can be used for. Playing in a group with your different types of characters is also a lot of fun as well
Can’t wait to check out this demo.

Decided to cop Valkyria Chronicles since it was on sale for $10. On another note, I just realized that the e-shop doesn't take American Express. I was like

looked at my wii u games earlier today like "here we go again". worst part is, I deadass know Wind Waker dropping on the switch this year too and I'm finna cop. Haven't played majoras' mask yet either sooo...and if they announce a release date for BOTW2

still got my NGPC and this game. shyt this was really the only reason I bought the NGPC.
before I'd say the PSP/DS era...it was the GOAT handheld fighter.

also they really out here over 80 mill units sold now? If BOTW2 and Bayo 3 drop this year

yeah MH and Dragon Quest. it's funny with Japan sometimes. they were going crazy over that one board style looking game from konami over there.
Guessing a MH/Capcom rep will be the next for smash with this much promo going for them in spring.
