Soon to be Switch owner. I have Mario Odyssey and BotW on the way. It'll be good to get back with Nintendo again.

Is Odyssey too easy?

Is it a good idea to start with the hard mode on BotW?

Odyssey isn’t super hard in the main story, but the mechanics are creative and somewhat challenging. Nothing too crazy but not necessarily super-easy either. I think the endgame content is supposed to be super hard though and for more hardcore players.

BoTW is dope too although I don't think going into Master mode off top is the right idea. The overall controls/mechanics aren't overly complicated but it definitely took me a little bit past the first "area" they start you off in until I really got comfortable & fluid with everything

So BotW is challenging enough without Master Mode?

Edit: Nvm. I'm going to assume that is the case.:heh:

It depends.

It is challenging at some points especially on your first playthrough.

But then there are parts you'll waltz through.

If you manage to stay out of your own way the game can be a lot more straight forward. Just remember go from point a to point b. There were plenty of times like "I'm going to walk to this village, save then go to bed." Then 4 hours later I'm still playing because I got sidetracked walking from point a to point b.

And it was always some thing so simple, like "ima climb this tree real quick and look over the countryside" or "let me chop this tree and grab some apples..."

:snoop: I dropped my right joycon into a glass of water.

I finished my workout. First was fitness boxing, then 160 push-ups, followed by back rows.

I drink out of a Mason jar. I go into the living room after the workout to sit on the couch for a minute.,I set my Mason jar on the floor next to the couch and as I sit down I hear a *tink, plop* and im like
":dwillhuh: it mightve hit it but it didn't go in"

Sure enough, I pulled it out within 2 seconds. Everything was fully functional, I had the strap attachment on it so that had to help.

The buttons worked but as it started to dry the whole joycon started wiggin out. The button mapping was all fukked up. Battery life dropped to red from nearly a full charge .

I don't have the y screw driver to remove the back and dry it out and I have the vibrate function rumbling until the joycon dies then ima attach it to the switch to recharge.

@Mr Hate Coffee

I fukked up trying to use it when it was wet, that's how you kill electronics. If I would've let it dry then powered it on it mightve been fine. It's just water so it may be fine in the morning otherwise there's another $50

Make sure you are upgrading the firmware on your joycons and pro controllers !!!!!!!!

This is not an automatic process!!!!!

You need to go to the settings menu go down to controllers and hit update controllers.

I had my pro controller hooked up via USB and my joycons connected via Bluetooth and they both had updates that needed to be done.

Keep in mind minus my little girl dropping the switch from the kitchen table to the ground where it landed on the left joycon which now doesn't lock onto the switch and me dropping my right joycon into a glass of water (:snoop:)I have never had any joycon issues.
