Just copped Doom on the switch. Game is still full price despite being 2 years old...

Thank God for Best Buy Gamers club.

Doom is dynamite on the Switch and the online play is a blast. Reminds me of playing shooters like Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 in the late 90s.

Worse yet they're saying some of the games you can't back up your saves because they basically haven't instituted any tech to prevent you from cheating their save backup system. On any other platform you can back up any game save but not here.

I'm stuck at the part with the moving walls. The second one not the first one. I don't know how to get through the small space that you would normally have to slide under.

Great game. Just completed it on Nightmare. Had a blast.

DOOM is the only game since RE4 and the first Ninja Gaiden for XBox where I started a new game as soon as I beat the final boss. And then started again a third time.

Lol. Yeah. I would loan it to friends after myself raving about how great it was. They’d always return it soon after saying the game was too difficult. Meanwhile I was completing it on the highest level of difficulty.

A real world lightning strike destroyed my Xbox though. Struck house and blew out a bunch of my electronics. Haven’t played NG since.

Wouldn’t mind a version of compilation be resleased for Switch.

So this article talks about Fortnite on the Switch not requiring a Nintendo membership however, what I find interesting is this line

"Epic also got an exception to using Nintendo's voice chat app on mobile phones for the game and uses the system's built-in port."

So this is yet another example of Nintendo working backwards. The Switch can 100% handle communication directly through the console itself yet Nintendo still wants to force that smartphone app down everyone's throat.

I beat it. I got stuck just like you. I had to put the sticks down twice, maybe three times. But I persevered and I beat it. I like this game, but minus armor I dont know why they would make an X series megaman again. I think its possible to do both and do both well, but this game scratches that wanting for a new classic megaman x like 1,2 or 3.
