Just got my SX Pro in the mail today :blessed:

Downloading Zelda BOTW onto my SD card.

I gotta find where I can get Xenoblade 2 and that Octopath Traveler :patrice:

Are you just going to keep your switch offline so Nintendo doesn't brick it or do you even care if they do since the mod is legit?

I let this Switch sit on the shelf since I bought it so online play was never an option.
There's ways to avoid getting banned with CCProxy which I'm doing right now actually (Game started asking for an update for BOTW out the gate; had me :sadcam:)

on GBATemp, they're saying like 2 people got hardware banned and one saying software ban....:patrice: Everyone's afraid to take a chance since Nintendo is so inconsistent with how they're banning people

I'm just here to play backups off my SD offline

Well SX Pro works without any issue.

Bought a 256 GB SD card and I got about 10 games. Most games cap out around 15 GB a piece. Mario Kart 8 is 7 GB, Rabbid Kingdom and Mario Aces is less than 3.

I booted into original firmware (4.1.0) updated to the latest 5.x.x, updated all the games, then pulled back in SX and played them. :manny:

They can't stop you from updating the game but they can stop you from playing online multiplayer. :hubie:

Any brehs looking to cop, it's still early so there's no good emulators yet. I'm gonna give it a couple months and just keep copping the switch games in the meantime.

SX Pro cost me less than $50.

Im probably gonna end up going this route. I'm thinking about buying it. Then just keeping it handy.

After overcooked , bayonetta 3 and Mario party there ade no titles I'm concerned about .of course metroid but I dont know when that's gonna come . I figure whenever switch does die whether it's 2 years or 5 years it's going to be worth it to have the emulators and roms of everything in this handy ass system.

Yeah there's emulators and stuff ready now. GBA is ready, SNES is up but you know how it gets fully optimized months down the line. By the time you jump on board, as long as you got the OG Switch, you'll eat very well.

Turned this thing into a NVIDIA Shield :whew:

When they add DS support, It's a wrap.

How much was that card. Them a$$holes at Amazon were raping people with no lube this year . I copped a 128gb SD xc for my switch for $40 at Walmart within the last couple of months. They were selling them for $50 on prime and cats at work were like :blessed:.

A lot of there switch stuff was marked up then had a sale price added to them so you didn't end up getting that great of a discount. A lot of titles were cheaper on eshop (but that's not physical so your can't get that recoup for trading in later or selling)
Prime eventually dropped the 128GB to $40 as well

Instead of ruining your switch, why don't you just buy an NVIDIA shield?

Such a waste of time and effort in my opinion.

Educate yourself my brother.

Unplug SX Pro = Unmodded Switch

There's literally no downside :tms_18:

Edit: Just to make sure you had no point here

They haven't sold the OG Shield that was moddable in years.

Switch is literally the best option right now.

It will be all fun and games until the next updates bricks your system

Until then, enjoy shytty ports of 10 year old games.

(HINT) - the 3DSXL is best way to play classic ports on the go until the Switch Virtual console is released everybody, Modding or not
