Nintendo just confirmed that Super Mario Party will have online play.
BUT!
It's only for the minigames and not for the board games for now, so they may just be testing the waters.
They're slowly learning.

Mario party online. I think board games would need timer just in case someone takes forever to roll the dice due to whatever. when the timer runs out they turn into a CPU.
Nintendo is making me really want to get a Switch. They do everything that other gaming companies dont. They are actually making video games. They arent ignoring genres, they arent ignoring older gameplay styles, they arent giving up fun for cinematics. Even an emphasis on local VS and Co Op which is sorely missing from other platforms. Yeah...a lot of us still have human friends we meet up with and we dont really have anything for couch co op besides fighting games. I hope that the Switch does so damn well that other game companies realize its about gameplay and fun and not about making D level movies with bare bones action gameplay.
I prob wont be able to get a Switch any time soon, but I sure as hell want one. Smash, Mario Party........Even Mario Tennis looks legit amazing. I saw in Mario Tennis theres even a single player mode with boss battles...thats dope as hell. Splatoon as well...I didnt even know that game had a single player mode until AGDQ did a speed run for it earlier this year. The single player actually looks like a ton of fun.
Octopath Traveler has pixel art and turn based combat, a supposed dead genre to many but I guarantee that it will do numbers. Then whatever else they have already released that I havent played.... Nintendo is actually for the gamers.

So apparently a new unannounced Konami title was shown for the Switch behind closed door and it was most likely Castlevania.

Nope, Konami had two unannounced games coming to the Switch.
One was a compilation, which was Hyper Sports R and another was an action adventure game exclusive to the Switch.
One journalist said that they were invited to see the unannounced game but they can't share anything about it other than it was not Pro Evolution Soccer.
and because you got Nick in your avi, Capcom has also said Ace attorney titles will be on the Switch, that's another reason why you gotta cop.
