I might get a Switch this week.:lupe:

If you want one, it might be best to get one now before the holiday shopping season starts. If you don't, you'll probably have to wait until next year.

There is also a good library of games outside of Mario and Zelda, so now isn't a bad time to jump in.

Just got a Switch on Wednesday, mostly I've been fukking with Zelda, yep it lives up to the hype and then some.

Any brehs here go 100% digital with their games though? I got a 128 GB sd card coming in today and I'm about to cop Mario, NBA 2K18, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Sonic Mania and Axiom Verge this week.

Should I spring for a 200 GB card instead or will 128 hold me atleast till next year :lupe:

The biggest game might be NBA which is rumored to be around 25gb or so. I know Zelda and mk8 were like 14gb or something.

My whole thing is to cop physical when possible because you never know when you'll want to trade. I don't know if gamefly does switch titles yet but I may have to reactivate by this time next year. I know I'm gonna get rid of mk8 I just don't know when or for what. If there's a physical copy of puyo puyo or gear club unlimited I'll do it.

I just don't want to be fumbling around with cartridges like that. But I guess it'll come down to what deals are at the time.

Also is the left joycon Dpad good enough for side scrollers or do I need to cop the Pro controller or Horipad?

How often will you swap games? I usually keep one in the joint then play eshop games like sonic or golf story which are installed. When I very first got it if swap Zelda for mk8 back and forth but now I usually play one full game like rabbids or Zelda then swap for a smaller title.

I think the Joycons are fine if you are playing at work or so. I play with it at work a lot (well I did until I lost the left analog rubber grip, so now it's just the plastic exposed, but I ordered new ones). I use pro controller at home.

I'm on this fence about this topic. I've always been a physical media guy, but with the Switch..I just feel like it's cleaner to go with an all-digital library. At the very least, the smaller games I purchase, e.g. Ultra Street Fighter 2, will definitely be digital.

Shin Megami Tensei V was just announced :blessed: Let the jrpg flood gates open.
Yeah, they announced a brand new SMT title at the January event but didn't give a name. Happy to see it's SMT V, although I would've been cool with a remake of those Super Famicom games that never came over, particularly If.
It's also a Switch Exclusive. A lot of people were thinking it was also coming to PS4 cause they had originally listed it a "Shin Megami Tensei HD" Project and didn't list a platform like they usually do but that's not the case.
Now, all I need is for Atlus to announce a second version of Persona 5 for Switch. Please :mjcry:
And if they announce some Yakuza games for this thing. My god :whoo:
I can dream, can't I? :manny:
Xenoblade in December gonna kick all this off. Hoping it won't be too long after that we get Octopath Traveler.
Let's not forget Pokemon is coming next holiday (ok, there's been nothing to even hint at when it's coming, that's my prediction).
