Nintendo Switch 2 games are $80 dollars

Price isn't an issue....but for $80+, I want modern graphics and lots of content (GTA, Assassin's Creed, Elden Ring etc).

Not sure it's worth it to upgrade from Switch to Switch 2. Only reason they'll be OK is intense fan loyalty.

Not worried about it. They said donkey Kong is 70..so 80 will be for their biggest games seems like (3d Mario, Zelda, Mario kart, pokemon). Im not buying enough of their exclusives in a small enough window for this to matter to me.

Yeah i don’t mind paying for what things are worth.

But here you are paying a premium price to get objectively less than you’d get anywhere else just cause mario is involved.

On top of that, their shyt be the cheapest made and fastest to break/malfunction. Worst practices in the industry as far as consumer rights go.

I know everybody’s up in arms about the price but I don’t care and I’m guess I’m part of the problem. If I take my wife and son to the movies I’m spending $40-$50 easy for 1.5-2 hours worth of entertainment. I’ll cop a game that I know I’ll be playing for 10s of hours for $70-$80 and not think twice about it. Hell my son done blown more than that much on stupid Roblox items when he gets Roblox money for his birthday and Christmas. I’d rather him spend that on a Nintendo game instead.

I know we got a mental block about how much games should be but I remember when N64 games were $70-$80 back in the 90s.

Na casuals see a new console and open their wallets without hesitation. Once that new Mario Kart was switch 2 only that is all Nintendo needed to do.
