I been saying this shyt for the longest. nikkas bytching and complaining about gaming prices when they are technically behind the curve when u factor in inflation. Games didn’t start getting cheaper until the PS1/Saturn came out. And N64 games still costed about $20 more on average. Factor in how much it cost to make a AAA game now versus back then and u would know nikkas was eating good. My parents paid damn near $90 for certain Sega and SNES games. That’s the equivalent of paying like $130-$140 for a game now. Matter fact $90 in 1993 is worth $200 today. Think about that.

Fam, 90 dollar SNES game in 91 is over 200 now with inflation. That's how bad we were getting raped back then by Nintendo. And this is when I was a HARDCORE Nintendo stan.

Yea I just edited cause I checked. lol. It wasn’t just Nintendo with those prices tho. Sega had those prices for certain games too. $84.99 for Street Fighter 2 Special Champion Edition back then. lol. A damn fighting game on Sega.

You forget that those games didn’t have a digital way to play. Games should be cheaper when you don’t have make cartiriges no packaging and instruction manuals. It’s a fukking greed no other way to look at it. They can see these games at 50 -70 dollars and make a profit.

nikka these are Nintendo games we talking about there triple AAA budgets are nowhere close to Sonys. There’s no way in hell Mario Kart should be priced more than Spider-Man 2 or God of war.
