In a follow-up, Nintendo Japan has posted on Twitter that there's a price to pay if two Gamepads are active. Frame rates drop to about 30 fps if two are active; any games that really want that extra controller won't be quite as glass-smooth. On the upside, it's possible to switch one off with a smooth transition; there won't be a need for theatrics just to switch to a solo game.
a new player needs to show up because microsoft, nintendo, and sony are on some bullshyt
being completely honest, you think apple isnt going to cater to casuals?
I'm not convinced the third party support will be there.
It wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being like the Wii. Third parties are there at the start and dip to the other consoles later on. I'm probably going to buy the Wii U for exclusives later on next gen.
I don't understand something about these company's mentality going into E3.
If they know the tech heads and nerds are going to be the ones watching this shyt, and not women and 10 year olds, why do they focus so much of their time on that stuff? This isn't just Nintendo, all the companies have started doing this lately.
I don't think any house moms and grandparents who are the prime consumer for the stuff they show are sitting in front of their laptops streaming E3.
apple would flood the market with a influx casuals and hipsters...
