That Fire Emblem game look like DOGWATER The worst part is you know those greedy fukks at I$ are gonna force some shytty scam tie-ins to the gacha mobile FE game into it too, hell they got the main character calling up Marth and every other old game protagonist with his magical ring like he's summoning with apple store gift cards in Heroes

jrpgs are fire. the ones on switch are just dookie. octopath was one of the most boring games I ever played.
It's just because a lot of them aren't as original as they used to be, and you likely have played the games they are inspired by and trying to emulate.
A JRPG with a good budget that has it's own identity are still a good time. That's why people liked DQ11 and Persona 5

We're far removed from the 'golden age of JRPGs'. So the games coming out now are trash compared to that era. Even the highly praised games of today (i.e.:Xenoblade, FFXV) pale in comparison to their predecessors (i.e. Xenogears, FF6/FF7)

Yeah, theres just not enough money in JRPG’s anymore, even xenoblade 3 which is dubbed like the best JRPG out right now will go on to sell like 3.5m copies, which is crazy for a highly rated switch game where even a port of mario 64 can sell 6m copies.
And splatoon did that in two days
damn i hate watching after the fact….here we go
