no, it was honestly just a bad idea. there's no other way to see it. he was gonna make them aliens for god's sake. they have puns all throughout the series based on them being turtles but he thought it was a good idea to chuck that away and turn them into straight up aliens...

you just dont get it though, they are Teenage Mutant Ninja "Turtles". Turtles, not aliens. If they wanted to make a movie about aliens they could just make Biker Mice From Mars or Widget The World Watcher or something. Its like making the X-Men aliens, it changes the whole story. Might aswell be a different thing all together.

I just watched the OG one and the second one today, and even though I really liked the second one when I was a kid, that first one was fukking special and there was a CLEAR drop off. That shyt was a great movie.

And Michael Bay is trying to fukk the whole thing up anyway, so I don't mind it getting pushed back. Aliens, dawg, really?

And the homey Elias Koteas has aged like a motherfukker. I know he's probably in his fifties and all, but I saw a pic of homey and he was looking like he's finished with life.

at "name a terrible Michael Bay movie". Most of his filmography is terrible if we're being 100. That don't mean they aren't enjoyable....but he's not remotely close to being a good film maker.
