ironically some b!tches were bringing that up on the day he was hired

is it true though?

That's running thing about chip....he told his supposed family members not to speak on him & 10yrs of his life can't be accounted for.

Some people think he's on that low key Tim Cook lifestyle so he can coach in peace. But in 2015 some woman claims she was his wife at some point for 7yrs....but who knows?!?

In today's age that would be hard to hide, I mean if a private investigator really wanted to know he could find out easily

as an Eagles fan....Chips whole thing is about culture and program...it took him 3 years to get "his" guy....and we saw what happened. Honestly..Bradford was coming along...he had rookie/2nd year wide recievers...the defense was the strong point for most of the year....we werent THAT far off as people like to think.

1) he needs a mobile QB. the run game got shut down and thats because people knew Bradford literally couldnt move. U run read option with Kaep/able RB, and that opens up his whole offense. NICK FOLES went 27-2...and was running for scores in that offense....people are quick to forget

2) He will make the reads easy for Kaep. It wont even be funny with the play action they can run...granted, it depnds on his health coming off these surgerys but its really not fair.

3) People like to act like Chip is a failure..nah bruh....this guy easily won 10 games twice....then he got player personel play, tried to act like belichek, pissed off his owners, and got fired. We played horrible football for awhile...but it had more to do with roster turnover then anything else.

And did shyt with it....we had a coach that won 13, 11, and 12 games in a harder division with 3 NFC title game appearances and a SB appearance. Chip is also coming here to a shyt roster....he will be unemployed in 3 more years. *hope for my Niners sake I'm wrong*

If Seattle keeps drafting like they do and fitting players in their system (and having the fukking luckiest breaks ever) they can stay on top/highly competitive - look at the pats

As long as Arians is coaching AZ, they're a problem

The rams will not remain inept moving to LA

Chip's system is old now, it will only become more ineffective

It's really not though. Unless teams have discovered a super serum that eliminates tiredness, Chip's system is still sound. This isn't the wildcat or a trick play offense, it's literally just a handful of plays disguised in similar formations, but run quickly and a lot of times. The offense relies on overwhelming the defense with speed and not allowing them to react. This is not a gimmick offense. Since Vick, he's never had a QB that was a reliable threat to run and would stress the defense on read options. I don't see how it will become ineffective. Obviously we need talent to compete, so Baalke has to do his job, but i'm not worried about Chip's system at all. In fact, i'm pretty excited about it.

Which 10 years would those be? He played QB for New Hampshire through the 1984 season and started coaching at Columbia in 1990. In between he was working as a gym teacher while he coached a middle school team. Since 1990 he's been consistently working as a coach at Columbia, then New Hampshire, then Oregon, then Philly.

And yeah, he got married in 1989 but the marriage didn't work out because he became too focused on football when he started coaching, so they seperated after 7 years and got a divorce a few years after that. It's not something he ever talks about, but it's not like it's some X-file or conspiracy or shyt.

I must admit I didn't follow Oregon or the Eagles but wouldn't an offense like that be hell on the same teams defense? Like if you make a bunch of quick plays and punt the ball your defense will be tired.

Yeah, which is why conditioning is of the utmost importance for a Chip Kelly team. That's why he does all that sports science stuff like daily hydration tests, sleep monitoring, and nutritional regimens. Now, if you're coming from the Browns or some other team that doesn't give a fukk, you're probably not going to like having to do all this extra work, which is where the player-coach friction develops. That's why Chip is so insistent of having players who buy into his system. But it works; Kelly's defenses have consistently ranked better in the second half of the season than in the first half.

Besides the sports science stuff that Reggie Rhodes already mentioned, at Oregon they also rotated guys on defense a lot more than other teams do. This had the added benefit of giving the young guys tons of playing time, so they were often far more experienced when they moved to startiing positions than most teams' new starters were. That's a lot harder to do with the NFL, though, with the limited roster. I haven't really followed the Eagles enough to see if that's had an effect.

In recruiting they also targeted real athletes with big engines more than guys who were fat and strong. Often this doubly worked to their advantage, because when the offense jumped out to a quick lead and the other team was forced to turn to the passing game, Oregon had the exact kind of defenders to take advantage, and a lot of teams just threw picks and crumbled. Of course, if the offense sputted and the other team had a really strong run game, sometimes it could backfire on them. Not because the defense got tired, but because they weren't the right kind of athletes to stop a power run game consistently over and over again.

Oregon developed a turnover-focused defensive strategy in response, where they took away big plays and kept everything underneath them, forcing the opponent to have to put together a lot of plays to score, then took advantage of their athleticism to cause picks and broken plays (which are going to happen more often when you force the other offense to run a ton of plays and they're not used to that). This resulted in some ridiculous turnover numbers, and the kinds of 4 or 5 turnover games you saw from FSU and OSU in the BCS playoffs weren't flukes. FSU should have outmanned Oregon's defense, but they got spooked when Oregon's offense got rolling, couldn't make the big plays to counter quickly, and Oregon capitalized on the mistakes they made under pressure. OSU had an even more dominent personnel advantage, but if Oregon's WRs hadn't killed so many drives with dropped passes (Oregon's top 4 receivers were out for the game), Oregon probably would have been up 31-21 or so going into the 4th due to their big turnover advantage, and would have had a good chance to win the game.

Again, that's a bit tougher to do in the pros. I think Chip's strategy translates to the NFL, but not as dominantly as it worked in college. On the other hand, in college he was going against top-5 recruiting classes with #20-25 recruiting classes, which is a huge actual gap because man-to-man, that top-5 recruiting team literally has a higher-ranked guy at all 22 positions, and often more than 1. Meanwhile, in the NFL he's working with players just as good as the other teams', if he doesn't fukk it up like he did last year.

nikka NO!

That hurry up shyt don't work....all it do is make your defense tired af.

Against the boys that nikka 3 and outed the eagles to death with his quick ass 50 second drives.

I remember the end of the game nikkas on the defense were so tired...all had they hands on hips and maxwell just let t-will run free for a TD.

Chip system worked when he had nikkas that could play. Shady, Desean, Jeremy....thats when he won 10 games....he won shyt without em
