Nikola Jokic’s run to the finals is OBJECTIVELY more impressive than any run Steph Curry had

I mean it's
Jokic >> anyone else in history at this point right?

:beli::stopitslime:

Might aswell start the Jokic MJ debate, that's where we are heading:comeon:

it's not that serious but the hype around Jokic right now is understable. Breh has been absolutely balling for some years now, is basically a Point Center and has a team that never wins shyt in the Finals with a team full a really good players built around him. It's a story worth selling just like Jimmy and the Heat have a good story

Who do you think would have given them any trouble in these here playoffs?

The Celtics? :comeon:

My post was about OP saying that this Jokic runs was more impressive than any Steph has had which is absurd. Im sure the warriors beat teams that could’ve been a problem for the Nuggets. None of the teams the Nuggets have beaten this postseason would beat any of Steph championship teams.

To answer your question All About matchups. All the teams that lost had weaknesses but the Nuggets aren’t unbeatable. Milwaukee could’ve given them problems with Brook Lopez Vs and Giannis, plus they have a guard Jrue that could keep up with Jamal Murray. Celtics had the personnel battle with Jokic too and Sixers as well. We will never know because it’s all about matchups.

Comparing Jokic to the GOAT is flattering and it's telling that Steph is now the gold standard, but let him finish this run off before we crown him. At least let him pass Bron first before we even bring Steph into it

So. Cal
This is not an individual sport, Jokic is not facing one player, the Nuggets are facing the other teams, The average seed they've faced is 6.75 (8+4+7+8÷4=6.75) which rounds to a 7 seed. That’s the lowest average seed any team has faced on a finals run ever.

Obviously not the Nuggets fault, they play whoever is in front of them but this thread is stupid AF.
I know this math ass post didn't just pop up and used way the fukk outta context for a sports debate :why:

Never change coli :dead:

I mean if we're being consistent then yeah :manny:

Might be time to have a "who's peak is better... Curry or Jokic" thread honestly

Match ups are real. I agree

It's just hard for me to think a Bucks team that got thrashed by an injury depleted Miami is all of a sudden gonna give the Nuggets problems.

Same with Boston. They turned the series around way to late and SHOULD HAVE lost in six.

Sixers choked their way out of the offs with Joell playing not up to par for an MVP

Nuggets are the best team in Basketball right now and it's starting to look like it's not close.:yeshrug:

Folks don’t realize that if the tables were turned right now Jimmy Butler would be receiving the same type of treatment right now but unfortunately he’s not winning. Neither one of these teams were picked to go to the Finals, if Jokic lost they would have said “team is still young but at least they got to 2nd round”. Same exact shyt with Butler (excerpt it would be he doesn’t have help and minus the at least they got to the first round) and the talking heads would be saying “who do they get to get over the hump” so they can get to the next level.

Both of these teams were very lucky to make it to this point but Jokic hit the fukking billion jackpot while butler on hit the million because of level of difficulty to get there.
