@Long Live The Kane

Don't think I don't see your shameless ass bullshyt agenda moving on from AD to prop up Giannis now, purely out of spite for one particular player.

:lolbron:
Quoted for emphasis.

This applies to a lot of cats on this board too, who've had an agenda against Jokic for years now, trying to make out that they've been speaking the gospel all this time, as if their bullshyt hasn't all been recorded on here.

AD hasn’t been the same player since the chip year, and it concerns me if he’ll ever get back to that level while dealing with that degenerative Achilles…doesn’t change the fact that AD was better than Jokic in the playoffs that year they were bounced by the lakers in route to a ring…and while he’s better than current AD, he’ll be bounced again and again in the playoffs because despite the novelty of being an offensive engine as a center….the nuggets will always struggle to put together a championship level defense with him as the anchor

the finals that was won with Giannis playing DPOY level defense? The finals where one of the most pivotal plays that swung the series was a defensive play that pretty much only Giannis and a healthy AD are capable of?

there’s a reason why Giannis was playing center in crunch time of a super tight game 5 of a tied finals series…put some slow footed oaf there in that spot and CP3 or Book eat them alive in pick and rolls and the suns are the champs….same reason why Murray wasn’t dropping 50 against the lakers every game in their series when they beat the nuggets in route to the chip

But Giannis isn’t a center, whose to say the Nuggets can’t find a a defensive anchor to pair Jokic with

but he’s playing center literally during the most important moments of the most important game of the finals…not that the position itself is all that important anyway, teams will hunt whoever the most immobile big is any way and make him a target…and good luck just finding (and acquiring and paying) an AD/Freak/DPOY level super versatile switchy big that you can just throw in there with Jokic :russ:…that’s been my point the whole thread, those type of players are more scarce than guards and wings that can be offensive engines ….

Been years literally since you been begging for attention in this thread and absolutely nothing has changed….AD and Giannis are both champions, and we’re a couple months away from Jokic’s annual playoff elimination because the quandary of how to build a championship defense around a center that’s a code red liability remains unanswered :mjlol:

EVERY single one of these posts remain the gospel…and you know it too…all this Jokic dikk blowing that’s been the bulk of your recent life’s work, and you’re too p*ssy to even pick the nuggets to win the chip as they stand as the #1 seed

Bubble AD > Box Score Plus-Minus VORP RAPTOR TS% GOD HOF’er Jokic

You mean where AD is struggling to lead the Lakers to play-in seed and Jokic has his team sitting #1 in the West? You think the Lakers have any chance of winning a playoff series if AD is the one who leads the team (without Bron)? What was Giannis doing before he had the best support cast in the league? Where was he leading his team?

You keep on proving my point, over and over and over and over again.

Every single one of your posts was bullshyt back then, and it's bullshyt even more now after the dust has settled.

A post-ACL Murray
MPJ
Middling role players.

Which star in the league would be expected to win the chip with that kind of support cast? I wouldn't expect Steph, KD, Bron, Embiid, Giannis etc to win with a support cast as fundamentally flawed as that. They're only the #1 seed because Jokic has dragged them there, not because they're this complete team.

Even Giannis had a better support cast in 2020 (when he shytted the bed against Miami).

Bubble AD this mf says.

You mean an anomaly postseason where he was allowed to rest up for months ahead of the playoffs, didn't have to travel, and played alongside arguably the greatest player to play the game? How come we've never seen that version of AD before or after? How come we've never seen AD lead his team on a deep playoff run?

Of course, this is all lost on you because your myopic take of what it takes to win a championship doesn't allow you to see reason. AD didn't win shyt until he teamed up with Bron (he's constantly shown he can't lead a team, by himself), and Giannis didn't win shyt until the Bucks acquired the best defensive guard in the league [Jrue], along with having a closer on the offensive end [Middleton] and one of the best defensive anchors in the game [Brook].

Or are you going to tell me that both AD and Giannis would be stacking chips with Murray and MPJ?

I'll roll with the player that you can count on suiting up for the game.

Ppl like to make fun of Jokic body type but he must not be that flabby.

AD can't even play back to backs, apparently:mjlol:

Anyone that uses "Bubble AD" as a determining factor for anything doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. I mean, shyt, it's literally in the moniker. There's a reason why they just can't say AD.

Jokic is a significantly greater player than he was 3 years ago, and it's going to be that much more of a task for AD because he isn't significantly greater than he was 3 years ago...

These Nuggets are battle tested, too. KCP gives them championship experience, the core of Jokic/Murray/Porter has been together 5 years, and Brown and Green give them added playoff experience...

AD gone have his work cut out for him without a doubt...
