These players are similar to these guys that serve in the military..

We all do shyt to profit for someone else.

So these athletes are getting paid for what their worth to their company. Military is making billions of dollars but only paying their hundred thousand people whatever they sign for..

But yet there's only like a few hundred ball players making the NBA billions as well... Of course the should ask for more money

The thing about it is that Athletes at the pro level are the top 1% of their craft.

So while a normal teacher might only make 50k. A professor in the top 1% of their field makes crazy money too.

It's a contrived world out there. The distribution of the wealth is skewed and will be. It's hard to complain about athletes getting paid that much if people are willing to pay that much to attend the game (its a circle).

I do think its crazy that NFL concussions get that much attention while being an actual non-existent public health burden.

Easily one the dumbest things ever said. When a teacher can get 60,000 people to pay to watch them teach and get millions of people worldwide to buy products off of their image then they've earned it.

Where are the million dollar teachers going to get their money from when these idiots aren't going to volunteer to pay ridiculously high tuition fees or have their taxes raised to absurd levels?

I don't think athletes should be getting paid millions of dollars either

HOWEVER, I don't think that the owners should be getting all that money
I'd rather the fans not be the ones getting shafted with crazy prices.

I'd rather be able to pay $100 to take my family to a game rather than pay over $100 just for myself.
I'd rather pay 3-4 bucks for a beer than 10 bucks when i get there

if that money came out of the players large salaries I'd be fine with that

the problem I do have is the owners taking all that extra money from the players and not giving it back to the fans.

Lets face reality, sports generates LOTS of money.....thanks to the fans.

The ONLY ones getting screwed the most in this equation is the fans.

Listen if the owners came out right now and said they wouldn't take anymore profits if they lowered the salary cap solely for the purpose of lowering costs for fans I'd be 100% for that.
