It's the exact opposite and you know it. The people complaining about the Finn character are the people that solely saw the movie because they believed Finn would be the main character and a Jedi. They didn't see it because they liked or even watched a Star Wars movie before they saw the Finn character.. I have no idea how you dudes twist these narratives when it's clear as day what it is.

In summary, Finn aint even worth the time until he shows otherwise. Big letdown for his actual behavior in the movie for a fan like me, but yall need to stop this shyt about being bamboozled. You weren't. You were hoping for something that was never there because he swung a lightsaber. That narrative didn't add up from day one. If they make him gay after publicly casting the Asian chick as a female love interest for Finn, then I will ban Star Wars from my existence. That would be a real misdirection.
