Well Damn!
"SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities Monday said the victims and a suspected killer in a triple homicide in a Paradise Hills home were all from one family.
Clarence Blunt, 55, was being treated at a local hospital after attempting suicide, according to San Diego Police homicide Lt. Ernie Herbert.
The victims were identified as Lilly Blunt, 33, Linna Blunt, 3, and seven-month-old Richard Blunt. Autopsies were pending to determine the causes of the deaths.
A police statement said the victims and the suspect were from one family, but did not specify the relationships. However, one broadcast report cited a neighbor as saying the adults were married and were possibly involved in divorce proceedings.
Police said authorities received a call at 5:50 p.m. Sunday from a family relative, saying attempts to contact anyone at the home in the southeastern part of San Diego near National City had been unsuccessful.
Officers from the Southeastern Division responded to the location in the 2400 block of Luther Street.
Herbert said officers discovered a man inside the home in need of medical attention, and they also found the woman and two children dead inside the living room.
The investigation led officers to determine that the victims had been murdered, Herbert said, who added that officers had no evidence of anyone else involved in the case.
The crime motive has not yet been determined, police said."
