Why is it that Sneaker stores are the places getting looted in every city's riot? I guess at 33 im very disconnected to the "sneaker culture" Its comes off as gay to me to collect a bunch of different color shoes, because it seemed like only the women in my family cared about shoes. Even today, my older sister has a huge sneaker collection.

Just seems inconvenient to try and steal large boxes of sneakers. Everyone is living in hell, but atleast people have fresh kicks?

I have no idea, I think it's pretty feminine myself. I certainly wouldn't risk my freedom for shoes. But people like to collect things, and that's probably a large part of it.
