I know it sounds crazy but unless you are the son of an eze, you will likely be treated better as a Black man than as someone with actual Nigerian roots. They want be asking for money. They will want to appeal to you. They will treat you extremely well. Nigeria is the extreme of have v. have nots. A Black America who would come to Nigeria like someone like @Lord Scarf will get tremendous treatment in Nigeria. Regardless if you live there or visit. Some areas would even make you a chief if you pay for it. Black Americans usually like Nigeria when they move there and many only come back to re-up on goods that are readily available in America.

The issue was when the war took place, Biafra was whooping ass. The US put pressure on Israel to end its support of Biafra. China and South Africa was weaker than Nigeria at that time, their support didn't mean shyt. France support was bogus, they just wanted to do business with the Igbos and they didn't really give us weapons like that. Biafra lost because of three countries.
