Nigerian is half Christian and Muslim. Some of our Christians will make the average white American evangelical seem like rational logical beings. So yes, they love Trump. Heck some of them really think they are Jewish descendants. They did a dna test once and the disappointment that there wasnt a drop of Jewish blood in them was stark for everyone to see.

Kinda figured this, met a guy at work from Afghanistan that had no problem with Trump either. Said he was glad 'America finally has a leader who acts like a man.' whatever that is supposed to mean. 
Correct but remember. There is no such thing as a shared Nigerian culture. The northerners, south westerners and south easterners are so culturally different that it does not make sense.
The only people who would be offended by the shythole comment would be northerners. Southerners would agree.

I am Nigerian and one of the reason Nigerians love Trump is because of his view on Islam. Nigerians in general are not patriotic people so Trump calling Nigeria a shytehole was not really an issue with most Nigerians. Especially those in Nigeria who get to experience the shyttyness on a daily basis.
