3 billion is nothing tho, nigeria probably needs 100-200 billion to build a proper infrastructure

the real problem, from what i see, is illiteracy, i think 50% of nigerians cant read, you can have all the oil money in the world if the people cant read the country is going nowhere because the country doesnt have the human capacity to develop its own resources

I actually support this move. As long as the money is used effectively I think this is a great move. Nigeria can only progress if outside investment is able stimulate the economy. The Chinese give millions of cheap loans to US companies, yet I don't here any of you ignorant nikkas complaining.

You nigerian breh?

Lending at below market rates to fund infrastructure projects using Chinese firms has enabled Beijing to cement relationships in Africa while subsidising its construction industry.

The problem isn't only that the country will have a massive amount of debt, the construction will be done by chinese firms with imported workers. This means that it will have little to no effect on the nigerian economy since the funds isn't redistributed to the inhabitants.

Similar thing happened in Eritrea when Da Korea was built. They struck a deal with the Koreans that they will fund the project themselves but S.K. used their own engineers, electricians, construction workers, plumbers etc. leaving the dirty work for eritreans.

The Sembel Residental Complex (“da Korea”), which was built by a Korean contractor Keangnam Enterprises in 1996, is located in Sembel.

I see what you saying, but we have a limited future in America. Now I'm sure you're like :what: But hear me out :whoa: , this country has a growing prison population; insane education costs that increase by the day, healthcare that's asinine, military complex, not too mention the conditions for us got worse over the last 20 years. So with that in mind, Africa makes the most sense given it's opportunities and resources , it just takes some investing.
Once the day happens, Africa would be a super-continent, a place for all blacks to live.

I'm thoroughly disappointed in my country for this. I'll say it plainly, I don't trust the Chinese.
They are brutal cut-throats with excellent economic sense and a great hunger for money and getting the upper hand. This can only end badly for Nigeria and any other African countries obtaining loans from them.

Nigeria-

and westerners are....... :what:

Go look up the biafra war
