i never met an African until i went to college

there were only black, white and a few mexicans where i grew up





i thought it was all love between Black Americans and Black people from other places


then i had a prof from Nigeria
I went to a HBCU

and this dude stood in front of the class and dissed all us
my nikka said
he was disgusted at how lazy Black Americans were
he said we were all thugs
and just do drugs and make babies






every day in class dude popped shyt
it was a fukking Drama class too- I took it as an elective for fun

this nikka tried to fail nikkas in a damm drama class


we went to the administration on his ass
but nothing happened

he give a senior a F

dude begged him to change the grade


then ole boy caught the Prof off campus and stomped his ass out

Statistics show that Nigerians are coming to America and doing great..

.. I just wonder how much of that is actual culture, and how much of that can be attributed to immigration. The cream of the crop families are the ones who immigrate to First World nations.

The 1954 and 1965 immigration acts allows mostly folks with higher degrees or those with experience in specialized degrees to legally come in to the U.S. Those folks could then sponsor their families, resulting in a specialized and filtered population who raised their kids with those same values. This is why you see so many Nigerians in medical school or in engineering. This is also why you see so many 'successful' east Asian Americans post 1965 than you saw pre 1965 (who were mostly labeled thugs and troublemakers).
