I give him credit, because he made me realize not every black man who applies paint to canvas is a rip-off of that Basquiat dude.

Only reason I have an Instagram account is to follow a lot of black artists, and the talent out there is beautiful

What's the difference between that shyt and some of the shyt in museums? I've seen "art" that looks like absolute shyt but somehow it's a "masterpiece"?
In simple terms from what I understand it’s a race of who can get to uncharted territory first. That’s why Mark Rothko and Basquiat can make the art they made and have a career. Most art masterpieces aren’t simple anyways

I'm still shocked how I got into a museum permanent art collection while alive and did it in 1 yrs of my career.

Some just get lucky with the aesthetic
