This is what happens when you have a handful of people controlling wealth and having control of the police/military. Not just Nigeria either, but the world over.

Those in power feel safe in their homes because they have people mindlessly following their orders for no other reason than being told "it's the right thing to do." People in charge don't have anything to keep them honest. Anybody rebelling gets met real quick by policing forces.

For every few cops/soldiers that do their jobs the right way and frame each perspective into context, there are about 100 others who will follow orders just to follow them.

Some of them would spray down an entire group of people who are fighting for the right thing only because some politician told them to do it.

My comment was not direct to AA specifically. It was to black people in general.

The only place where black people, wherever they come from, can change things are in black countries. Black people in the West are not a political force and will never be one due to lack of wealth and low number.

But regarding numbers its a case by case basis. What you said can apply to some espescially blacks that are just a few mill in some countries

But that dont apply to all espescially regarding and focusing on numbers(African-Americans/Afro-Brazilians/Dominicans,etc). Black people can def be a political force if we took the right steps to be one.

As a AA, I can say we can. We may not be close to the majority. But we got big enough numbers to be relevent. IF we made right choices. but rn we are not doing that as majority of us are making bad decisions like loyalty to the Left(Demos).

But thats slowly changing.

oh yeah dont know if i mentioned my last day there, because dangote was at the eko hotel no ubers were allowed in. I had to meet a chick so i just took a reg cab. I worked out a price with dude of 1,000 naira to take me to farmcity lekki. When I get there dude tells m the price is 1,200 because of a toll. I told him not my fault we agreed upon 1,000 naira, paid him the 1,000 and walked away.

Dude parked his car in the middle of the street and ran after me calling me a thief. There was a cop with a ak 47 patrolling traffic so i just went to the cop and told him that I'm a tourist here on business with my accent loud and clear and this taxi driver is harassing me over 200 naira.

This dude wouldn't let up calling me every name and saying by 12am tonight this and that will happen to me i told him to stick his juju up his ass

He said if the cop wasn't there he would have fought me

Cop told him to get back in his car and drive away

200 naira is like 70 cents but i refused to get ripped off

The Black people who fought and tried to free themslves, were due to the fact that there were backstabbing nikkas in the fold. Who went on and helped the cacs(Nat turner, X, King etc). Had there not been for that, The damage these brothas and sistas would have done could have been much bigger
