I've owned this game on PS4 since release and never bothered to play it. It might be next.

Just dropped on Switch.

Finishing DL now.

Been a very long time since a storyline video game had me hooked. Where I couldn't wait to play.

Res Evil 4 maybe on fukcing GameCube. Got lost in WoW and didn't own a video game for years after I quit that.

Been back on for about a year. Mostly Overwatch. But I've tried some story games but never got hooked by one yet.

Edit: pretty got damn cool.

The controls are hard for me to adapt to almost like two types of game simultaneously. The shooting and the melee.

Just got killed for the first time. About 40 min in. I read other Brehs write you can't save until like an hour.

I don't see myself grinding this out for hours but it's a dope little ride for when I have a couple hours to kill.

It's a great port, even in handheld it mostly holds up. Agree that the switch controls make the shooting a hassle.

Wow what a gem. I never played this when it came out for some reason.

Classic no doubt feels ahead of its time because of hardware limitations. I would love to see them remake this or make a sequel on ps5

I wanted to try this out but saw it wasnt on ps plus....

Its something about paying for a 7-8 year old game that doesn't sit well with me. Its a principle thing.

But is this worth it?

I’m playing on ps5 pro and the graphics look great for an older game. Textures are obviously dated but resolution and colors is really good, 60 fps very smooth.

The art style carries it. The music is amazing too would give 10/10 just on the soundtrack. Story is wild too but if you don’t like anime or manga might not be for you

you pay for games that are unique regardless of age, the creativity is what stands the test of time, shyt like NIER, Viewtiful Joe, Persona, etc. all still feel fresh because no other games attempted to copy them.

and game graphics are at the point where 8-10 years isn't a big deal at all :dahell: it's not like you goingback to 2d scrollers or ugly polygon characters like FF7
