Video game adaptations never turn out great but hopefully this is the exception.

Literally just had cyberpunk blow up the charts, and Castlevania a couple years ago
I still need to watch Cyberpunk you are right on that it blew up crazy. Castlevania was great, but it did have a lot of creative freedom iirc, so I always thought of it as an exception.

Yoko taro himself is the creative lead for this, and he’s writing a new story for it so i have faith in it.

Not gonna lie I just beat this game a couple weeks agowith high expectations and it really fell flat for me in terms of gameplay :patrice:. I played endings A-E too

Story was the best part tho so it might work better as show :manny:

First episode was dope, but 1-to-1 with the game, which already looks incredible so it doesn't add much. I know the anime's going to veer off soon (it's Automata vers. 1.1) so can't wait.
