This girl been getting surgery on her Body since 08-09. Before all of the OD glorification of pills. Before the epidemic in the US. All of that. And doctors were NOT telling people how addictive they were. They are so addictive, if u take them as it says on the bottle. U WILL get addicted. Doctors prescribe these sh*ts like they’re nothing. I got a simple out patient procedure and they gave me a script for Ozy. They really don’t tell you that these things are addictive.

Where at? You're more likely to walk out with a 1000mg ibuprofen script then any type of opiates here, for a lot of things.

I had to give a urine sample to get some tramadol and hydrocodone when I had my wisdom teeth removed. It seemed like a lot to go through for a narcotic that ended up costing me .47 cents

I had wisdom tooth pain for six weeks before my procedure and for three weeks after due to dry socket. After the pain was gone I kept taking the pills because I was worried the pain would come back. I hadn’t slept a full night for like 2 months because of pain so I was sleeping great. One day I realized that I didn’t need them anymore and tried to stop. I spent 3 days in bed withdrawing I think. I believe Nicki when she says she didn’t k own how addictive they were. I knew they were addictive and was still surprised at how easily I convinced myself to keep taking them. They really tell you to take them shyts every 4 to 6 hours as necessary. After my experience I do everything I can to avoid strong pain pills. That tramadol and hydrocodone is the Devil lol. I had a herniated disc last year and only took ibruprofen and muscle relaxers. (Along with physical therapy)

Yeah I was taking like 30-40 percs a day in 06/07 and they wrote me mad scripts without telling me how addictive it was. Very different era. Granted, I did know they could be addictive, but not nearly to the extent that they actually are. The OG script I had was for like 40 percs and 20 vicodin for a very minor injury where I didn't need either.

It's a complicated issue. Personal responsibility is most definitely critical, and on the flip side of the coin, doctors are the ones with the expertise and the medical degrees.

Yup. People trust these doctors and get caught up. For instance. If that shyt says take every for hours or as needed. DONT take it every 4 hours. Take it as needed. Because if u follow that. Ur already addicted to them shyts and don’t know it. This is why I’m looking at the responses in this thread and how ignorant people are to how the world used to be. This woman been getting surgery since 08-09. Docs was NOT telling people HOW addictive them shyts could be at that point.
