I watch streams as an adult and I don't think there is anything wrong with it especially if you are a gamer. I watch to see games I don't necessarily want to play but curious enough to see what it's about. I watch fighting game tournaments to see the best of the best go at it, and I watch wow streams to learn gameplay or sometimes raid strats. It doesn't mean I'm in the chat spamming pepe's or giga whatever interacting with the kids that may be watching as well.
As far as this situation goes you gotta chalk it up to the fact she's an entertainer and in a music genre that is heavily centered on the younger generation so she's going to do what she can to stay in touch. Not saying I agree with it but we've had this dynamic for a while now. How the hell you think Puffy been in the limelight so long?
I don't think there's a problem with the bolded. I used to do the same for watching EVO, MMORPG clears or watching music producers livestream making beats to learn a few things - sometimes they'll legit answer questions too. I see that as legit getting something out of it/learning. That's no different from somebody watching the NFL or NBA because they want to make the league so they're studying the game.
What I'm more talking about are streamers that aren't really doing much of anything except for entertaining by chilling or whatever. Like that is a complete waste of time imo. You just in there for clout at that point as are a bunch of kids. That's no different from just watching reality TV.
