I was actually thinking about this while I was getting my haircut today...

It's the reason why I have to give non-black women who f*ck with black men somewhat of a sideye...simply because the majority of this society views us like children and never as men or adults. Cause most of us are coming from situations where they had to learn what it was to be a man from experience due to not having a father...or they never had the opportunity or chance to become a legit adult/man at all (ie job discrimination, poverty, denial of opportunities due to ______________) and have experiences where they could participate in this society and grow into the role naturally.

It's like, white dudes are seen as men and adults from young ages...even though when the time comes (ie they get caught up with some legal shyt)...they'll just say "he was young it wasn't serious". Whereas if that would to happen to us, we would of been seen as adults even though we were 17 or 18 or younger at the time.

Going back to my original comment, it's like alot of these chicks want black dudes in their life for "fun" purposes (sex, getting them high, etc) but never for any serious purposes. When they want a solid foundation (start a family, for money/financial security etc...besides the fact that most tend to gravitate towards their own)...that's where and when they go to their men or men of other races for. By doing that, it's like they are saying they view black men like children or some wild teen and not like an adult or a grown man.
