I feel you. I used to be the exact opposite of the skateboarding anime type. Luckily I come from a good family and made the financial sacrifice to go to college or I prolly wouldn't even be typing right now. I got a 5 year old daughter and Id much rather her bring home the "nerdy" type dude over some knucklehead.
As long as he can protect her and like the Ravens tho
Yeah breh.. I hate saying the number 2.. Lol
The Ravens are a first class organizationOk your asking to much of a your daughters future spouse
Shouts to all my black nerds tho...that got called names like "oreo" and "white boy" by the sistas cause we skateboard and liked techno and anime and wasn't playing b-ball and didn't come from the hood. I never stopped loving Y'all but it makes me feel some kind of way when you diss us for doing that and get with white boys that do the same exact thing we got ridiculed by Y'all for. Subconciously...it's like these types are saying they don't associate those qualities with black people and are just accepting white men/women/people as just "better" just cause.

As Ive gotten older ive noticed it more and more. Nobody runs two words together to make it one better than us. Like instead of saying "I don't" its "iont" LOLbmore accents on words like:
two
room
nothing
something
are the goat.
I love the bmore accent and have it here and there, too.

I do. I never even noticed I had an accent till I met people from other places and they said I sounded country. They would do shyt like "say 2" and then bust out laughing when I said it
I just find this so hard to believe. What seems more plausible is that you and guys like you looked past the nerdy "oreo" black girls, because maybe she didn't have a fat enough ass, she was chubby, didn't wear make-up, was quiet and didn't talk much, or wore out of style or weird clothes and went after the "cool" type girls who were obviously gonna go for the cooler guys instead of the nerds.
Like you seriously want us to believe that with all the nerdy black guys around, there were no nerdy black females? I'm not into anime or techo or any of that shyt, but I'm sure a black girl who is into that stuff would love a black guy who was too.

See now that's mean.
The WireHah. Yeah I made sure I pronounced it correctly because I didn't want my son picking up on it.And I never really knew we had an accent until I started messing with females in Montgonmery county. Then I started hearing Snoop from the wire and Melo on Tv and was like ok I hear it now..lol
Says who? That's not part of any african codes I'm aware of and defiantly makes zero sense historically.
I used to do it to my cousin, when she was a shawty.
then, I came back to the chi and people was like are you from here, cause being around my family I had the accent, too.
