My exact thoughts. We can't just be silent and appreciate we have a black man and hip hop representing again! Jay literally putting black entertainers on the biggest stage and we are now screaming and beefing over who should be on that stage. Imagine Ariane Grande calling out Taylor swift if Taylor headlined a SB in Florida. :stopitslime:
shyt sounds like a joke, this is the first rapper ever solo headlining and it’s not even white ass Eminem. And nikkas still mad :mjlol:

This feels like a disconnect between rap culture/media and the general marketability of an artist to attract viewers to the Super Bowl. With the vast majority of viewers having zero awareness of this conversation

A lot of people have a connection to Wayne for what he means but his star has faded and he isn't the draw he used to be

Rap don't do as good a job of maintaining their legends like Rock does. Wayne is also to blame for this...

The person who seems to be a decision maker who could navigate this puzzle is Jay - why he went in a different direction might be the real story

I think Wayne will definitely be offered to join at this point, whether he will accept a consellation prize is another question

shyt is wild. People going to be salty for the next 5 months because of this.

Just because he from NO and he wanted doesn't mean he deserved it. Kendrick is to Hot right now to not have him perform. And Kendrick may not have been first choice, Taylor swift may have turned it down who knows.

This all comes down to Meg at the end of the day

Wonder why Nicki didn’t air out Wayne for embracing Lil Kim and taking pics with her

I’m not sexist by any means but I hate when women get involved in men business

It's really chess not checkers lol

I don't doubt that for a second

I also wonder how Not Like Us will be used in general. I think they'll play the music but I can't see him doing the lyrics to that...

Your average SB watcher has no clue this “controversy” is even happening, this will blow over in a day or two and life will go on
