The list goes this way FOR ME because the enormity of the target has to be recognized. At the time ether came out Jay Z and the Roc was at unseen heights as a solo artist/label in the rap game(Nas dismantled an artist and an entire record label(roc), really def jam was never the same)....next has to be cube being a one man wrecking ball of an entire crew who was at incredibly powerful heights in the game in their own right, NWA. For me shether actually lands at three...here is lil remy ma out of jail trying, struggling to piece together some form of her former career and she takes jabs from Nikki who has been a Goliath in the game for this almost decade.....and with one moment of penmanship just dismantles all reality and understanding of who we knew as nikka minaj.....all the barbies will have to acknowledge this forever or act like they were never fans at all....soul crushing.
And lastly, mobb deep wit drop a gem on em was incredibly disrespectful well crafted and had pac lived certainly been a hey maker that would have called for a rebuttle.....pac was definitely at his peak when the song was made and certainly would have triggered him being in his feelings.....GREAT DISS RECORD from the Mobb

Shante would have listened to Shether and freestyled a response in 5 mins. Shante and Remy going back and forth we would have had 100 answer beefs by now for the streets to savor. Everybodys game would have been uplifted --those with game.
The golden age aint coming back until there's more independence, the other shyt Remy touched on some bluntly in Shether.
I agree Shether is a stupid name. But this is proof substance supercedes superficial shyt.
As I said prior in my other posts prior to the list....I have to consider era....this hip hop era needed what remy did so badly I can't not include that facet. Is shether a stupid name....no imo, not hardly....it clearly defines what she was on while also paying homage to the original. But greatness has to continue, and not putting that diss where it belongs adds to the rut real hip hop has already been in. Roxanne will always be admired and held on a higher plateau.....but shether in this day of social media, big financial deals and hip hop/rap societal dominance Remy did her thing.....to a Titan with industry/corporate strength that shante never had to deal with. I agree with everything you said breh....but shether gets the spot .....for me, everyone has their opinion and this mine. And yea, I definitely wish Nikki was more like shante....Nikki's silence is despicable and a death sentence to her hip hop credibility.....in HER CASE I guess the Bridge is Really Over.

This diss must have really hurt her soul, I thought she'd have a response firing back with a fire beat and flow like her chiraq track by now, I've been F5'ing WSHH for 24 hours now. This must have really struck a cord, when you get emotional before you fire back, it's typically over.
Nas didn't respond to takeover for like 3 months and during the whole time people were saying that he got bodied and that it was over for him. If people keep piling on long enough the she'll be the underdog that people will want to root for just to go against the grain.

Nobody cared about his "warning shots" after he was directly dismantled on takeover. Cats had buried him during those 3 months, he even says it on ether.
Nas played it perfect tho, not only did he have ether he had an album full of quality music to back it up with stillmatic. That's what make that battle so legendary, two atgs traded KO blows and lived to tell about it.
