100% certain he has and will recycle those "extra" songs and verses when needed. Not all reference tracks get used, and that's a good time as any to say you have a song or verse already lined up.

None of this makes sense. First, being a drake stan doesn’t mean you know if he writes or not. Drake doesn’t even know you exist.

Second, nickelus F is on record saying he actually wrote a whole verse for drake that’s on so far gone in addition to “helping” with flows and melodies. You can’t ignore reality just because you have a crush on drake.

Drake has at least 6 confirmed ghostwriters: partynextdoor, Quentin miller, The Weeknd, lil yachty, nickelus F, and Hush. I can’t say that about any other rapper.

It would have been more believable if he was from the US, specifically a city (NY, Houston, whatever). People been paying their way into music for awhile but for a Canadian lame to get this far is impressive and pathetic.

At this point it's very clear he's had a lot of help with writing at every stage of his career. Just like he constantly finds a way to work with the hottest rappers/producers, he finds the hottest ghostwriters for melodies and lines. And when it comes to the "real rap" songs he relies on the same guys who got him here (Hush) plus a collection of battle rappers who clearly feed him bars. I'd imagine he writes a decent percentage of a verse and then it gets filled out by the bar experts.

It's not an insult to Canada, it's a commentary on how rap tends to work. Most of the big rappers have had a US base in a major city. Atlanta, LA, New York, Chicago, Houston. I said impressive and pathetic because on one hand he managed to do this without a US home base, on the other hand this was allowed to happen because people who would have normally stopped this shyt in its tracks were complicate in this fukkboy being allowed to move the way he has.
