It's remarkable how Drake infiltrated the culture. At times I can't believe it
It would have been more believable if he was from the US, specifically a city (NY, Houston, whatever). People been paying their way into music for awhile but for a Canadian lame to get this far is impressive and pathetic.

At this point it's very clear he's had a lot of help with writing at every stage of his career. Just like he constantly finds a way to work with the hottest rappers/producers, he finds the hottest ghostwriters for melodies and lines. And when it comes to the "real rap" songs he relies on the same guys who got him here (Hush) plus a collection of battle rappers who clearly feed him bars. I'd imagine he writes a decent percentage of a verse and then it gets filled out by the bar experts.

I don't think him being Canadian is the issue at all. It's him being a middle-class Jew raised by a white mom that makes him stand out. If he was from the US with the same background it would still be the same fraud.

If he was Canadian with an immigrant background it wouldn't be so inauthentic.

Same way the cracker did

You come to VA and get the culture 100% uncut, then when you branch out to all of our derivatives you can fake it til you make it with remarkable authenticity.

That first mixtape was hard "scorpio's mind" is still the best Drake song period

pre-2010 I was a big Drake fan all his early shyt was fire

thats why I didn't understand people comparing him to Kendrick early on.....Kendrick fukking sucked in the 2000s

I don't like him even now but he was legit awful back then

He writes nothing. We need to quit shooting this fraud bail.
