TYRONE GA!
If coaches can leave. The kids can leave. :manny:

You act like these buyouts don't get bought. :dead:

funny thing is it's the same people paying these coaches salaries who are paying players with nil.

If they wanna "reign" things in, then make it a true contract. Guarantee a few years of scholarship, and you can't transfer unless the coach leaves. If you do leave for another school, you don't get a scholarship and have to pay out of pocket.

Get creative or some shyt if you don't like the player movement, but you can't restrict a player from leaving if the coach is allowed to all willy nilly and shyt either.

I will say the transfer portal has gone too far
Imo you should only get 1 transfer
Guys bouncing around from school to school every year is weak

Free market right?

Free market is all good until certain people get money.....ironically from the people who bytch and moan.

talent costs. With everything.

“I thought we could have a hell of a team next year, and then maybe 70 or 80 percent of the players you talk to, all they want to know is two things: What assurances do I have that I’m going to play because they’re thinking about transferring, and how much are you going to pay me?” “So I’m saying to myself, maybe this doesn’t work anymore”

saban was making 10 mill per year and set for life, how dare these young negros want to get a piece of the pie

C'mon son. They were not getting paid nowhere near how much they are getting paid now. They were getting mostly gifts. The shyt they were getting before NIL is nothing compared to what the schools and coaches were getting. The money that some of these kids are getting now, can setup them up for life and have residual income if they are smart with it. Honestly it's majority of white people or people who want to be white complaining about kids getting paid. The main reason is because the majority of the stars or black. Nobody wants to see black come up. If the majority of the players were white, we wouldn't hear shyt.

Of course he's mad. He had the corner on the game and now there is competition since it's legal. He literally had a lock on the talent and now that is long gone. Which is great to see. I was sick of seeing his funky ass every year with an unfair advantage.

And hell no. Kids should be able to transfer as much as they want. Coaches get to bounce around from school to school. Why can't the kids? :gucci:

exactly hell a good starting qb is making like 1 mill in nil, that ish wasn't happening before
for some players who don't have a first round grade, they actually make more staying in school than leaving

Saban earned his money. He has no problem paying players who have proven their worth. NIL was spose to be about rewarding players and allowing them to make money off their name doing endorsements and shyt. Its morphed into something completely different. HS players trying to make nfl money before even stepping onto the field. Its officially pro football

U dumb fukks don't get it. He recruited them, he trained them and then they transfer and someone else reaps the rewards from Bamas work. That transfer portal shyt is worse than NIL.
It’s okay for coaches to rescind scholarships after one season but not for players to leave? Ok
