Lol who are we supposed to hire? He’s the best available right now

The better way would be to promote someone on the staff right now on a 1 or 2 year contract and do a full long term search. But that's just what I think.

He went 8-5 in the Big 10 w/ Maryland and beat Auburn with a back up QB. Lanning has the best recruiting class in the pac 12, entered a winning situation and hasn’t beating a notable opponent or won the pac 12. Lost to a rival 2 times in a season.

I said a while back I believed if saban didn’t retire until shadeur left school we could get Deion. People are saying his wife is sick though so he can’t wait

Deion was not the transition of a new Bama coach stop that, and that’s no shade to Deion

Now u can look at how cheap.
the msu faculty was not to pay this legend.

Damn.

Art Barr

They were cheap, but hitting your head against Michigan and osu and not a lot of talent, to spread around vs go to a state and get the lions share of it, plus lsu having want to, to get shyt right (money)

A disaster but not from Deions doing. People make it out like Deion can’t run organization but the man is very strategic and can build. The media is very vindictive and can paint a narrative.

I don’t for one second think deions ready for that depth of a program, can he politic and hold court, and play the game, sure, but his product on the field, and pressers after bad losses are not there yet, i think Colorado is fine for him to continue to get on the job training and get better, but much like you said earlier they ain’t letting a black man coach the tide

Hit up Urban myer, Dabo, Brian Kelly, try to lure Kirby in, im at least doing a through coaching search. I would want Lanning to be someone I have settle for not a panic hire like they’re doing now

Urban is a fossil in this landscape, dabo wants to do it his way, and if you think the money gon listen to him say, no transfers limited nil, etc you’d be a fool, he’d lose the institutional alignment in a couple months, Kelly ain’t built for Bama, that throwing nikkas under the bus and being an a$$hole shyt is cool long as you winning, 10 wins ain’t enough for him to be the level of a$$hole he is

Mario team was already a ten win team. He has to at least win the pac 12. I’m not even saying a natty. You don’t lose twice to a rival when you have a better recruiting class on paper. You can get aggressive coaching anywhere and that’s been the trend for cfb coaching recently. He still a look the part guy until he proves otherwise. If Locksley had Lanning situation he wouldn’t be getting this praise. Locksley has done more with less, in my opinion

Mario lost some bone head games, and continues to do so at Miami, no one can say the cupboards were bare, no one could say the infrastructure wasn’t good, Dan stepped into a good situation and pushed it harder, losing to Washington ain’t the stain you think it is, they have a round one qb with 3 round one wrs, and a Joe more winning line, and a damn good back, that team was stacked. Whats crazy is Oregon is poised to make another run, this season, that’s about as good of a position to be in coaching wise, knowing you have the team to be in the conversation is the key to being a good coach/program

No you can’t get aggressive coaching every where

Looking the part ain’t having your team in the hunt for your conference championship, if he was winning 7-8 games with Oregon then yes we have some issues

Locksley is in a recruiting hotbed and has trouble putting together talent and wins, I’ve had kenny from HotFiyaStarter and my homie i went to ug with who’s a Hs coach in Ga talk on Maryland dropping the ball on kids on the podcast, due to lack of effort, in games he makes questionable calls. Lil tua ain’t help, injuries have not helped either, but at some point he quits having the big dogs of the conference on the ropes and knocks them tf out, I’m happy he’s getting time to work his situation out, and him putting hella brothas on, but Maryland should be a 9-10 win program and Lock is not getting it done

Loser mentality

Shiiiid nothing about your fanbase makes a coach think they will have time to transition or the chance to win chips

Not like beating Auburn this season is a notch on your belt. Locksley just started winning outside the month of September this season. He can’t even lockdown the talent rich DMV or Tidewater area. Those two are not the same.
