I hate how we tried to tear this cat down.. you can't say he isn't TRYING to help us as a people.

before you take action, education is key.

Then he needs to stop lying about his education. I'm not saying he doesn't have a degree. I'm saying he's constantly lying about how many he has. Why?​

My 11 year old cousin is diagnised with ADHD since he was 9. His single mom (my aunt) allowed it. He was always a hype kid who can play outside ALL day. He started lagging behind in school, then a short while later everyone started saying he has a learning disability and they sent him to a psychologist . Nobody stopped and thought that maybe its that way because nobody is encouraging him to do homework after school or assist in his studies. His own mom would beat his ass for not being able to write his name even though she never once sat down and taught him to embrace education and learning. All that kid knew was to play outside, but everyone was quick to blame his lack of skill in school on him doing nothing and being hype all day after school



shyt still gets me heated thinking about it. He dull as hell these days

Its fukked up because it all happened while I was away in College so I never was there to try and intervene. His energy could have been redirected and converted into relentless focus and desire to learn. I feel bad for not being able to save lil breh (or at least try to) during his formative years.

100% my brother. I dont even comment on some of these clowns on Coli. Umar is a good brother. Intelligent brother who MEANS well. He has his flaws. Too emotional and doesnt think or plan things out too well, tries to do too much too fast. I dont believe in my heart he has any malice or is blatantly malicious in his actions or intentionally scamming. I will say this over and over. The Coli is reflective of a large portion of Black Americans in terms of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
