Oprah sold OWN to Discovery channel for $70 mil a couple years ago :mjcry:

Byron Allen got a network though, let's see if he put his money where he mouth was when he was begging us to boycott Comcast

Oprah still has stake in the company. N still an executive. She sold a percentage making discovery majority stake holders. The price does seem low looking back

Their programming remains targeted to middle class blacks

Every time they think we are getting all "upitty" with this BLM and this current reckoning, they will MOST DEFINITELY try to bring us back down to earth or in the dirt.

I think the sentiment is "Stop being racist." If we are fighting against racism/oppression we cannot then turn around and be racist, it undermines our efforts. Nick Cannon is a positive dude and I appreciate he keeps it very pro-Black, but he did go too far saying they are prone to violence and are less than. I don't mind the comments about Black people being the real Jews but attributing their lack of melanin to negative behavior? That is the definition of racism. If you want to debate whether he should be fired or not based on who else was and wasn't fired for their racism that's fine. Maybe he should have just been warned but he went too far for the public at large not to say anything.

This we are the world mentality isn't helping us. Nick spoke facts, white people are savages....look at the President and his supporters....

Even if it is what you think why say it? So you can get cancelled, lose money and then give them ammo to write a thousand articles and state thousands of times how BLM/Pro-Black theory is anti-semetic? Where's the strategy? Just saying what you think is true isn't effective. We want to change society to benefit us not just speak whatever is on our minds.

Why is 50 making fun of Nick? :snoop:Cause of the Eminem beef? Em got a lot of explaining to do if he's allowing this behavior to take place especially right now. This ain't about a rap beef now.

No disrespect but what does this have to do with Eminem? He is not the boss of 50 Cent. 50 decided to involve himself in the Em/Nick beef and take shots with Nick responding back... this just happens to be another shot and nothing at all to do with Eminem.
