Be quiet man
That's all you can say
like I said a nerd using terminology
people forget how bad the ravens, Flaco couldn't do shyt with the same time, Lamar took the playoffs, the team sucks, they only do well because of Lamar
Be quiet man
Did you not read my post where I said you can criticize him for not having postseason success? You quoted it and didn't read a word of it.You can't use Lamar Jackson's MVP and regular season success as an excuse to make him a top QB, but then turn around and use it as an excuse as to why he shouldn't get criticism for his lack of post success.
Also no one said that he would be out of the league if he didn't perform in the postseason this year, so I don't know why you're trying to speak that narrative into excuse
If they threw it more, they'd probably have one. But that's not their offense, and it's never been Greg Roman's offense as he has typically built an offense around a mobile QB's strengths, which most smart coaches ought to do. I get it. They dominate on the ground and nobody is scoring more than they are.
But after a certain point, it's on Roman to actively call plays to where the WRs they have can show and prove. Lamar is the premier dual-threat in the league, but in general he is trying to be a pass-first QB and over the last two drafts, the Ravens have acquired FOUR wide receivers that had at least one full season as the No. 1 WR on their college teams. Hollywood's been hurt in the past, sure, but their WR room might actually be something if the Ravens were willing to toss the ball around a little more.
I read somewhere in a past interview where Hollywood -- who has said in the past the offense needs more balance -- basically said something to the effect of "There are plenty passing plays in the book. The WRs have to give the coaches a reason to call those plays."
It shouldn't be like that. It should be "the coaches give a WR a chance to show and prove." Otherwise, what's the point of practice and training camp for them? The Ravens passing attack is criticized for being ranked 32nd... but they also throw it the absolute least. Baltimore has invested entirely too much draft work into receivers to not even try to use them.
He needs WRs to do that. His WRs were dropping passes all year longLamar Jackson has to throw the ball outside the numbers regularly to take the Ravens to the next level. All he does is throw in the seams everyone knows that. That comment someone tweeted about him having 4.3 speed means nothing and is bullshyt. It’s the same story over and over for these speed demon QBs.
Lamar needs to be able to complete that 25 yard out to the opposite hash
He needs to graduate from this pop Warner offense and make the throws down the field and to the opposite hash
Needs to be official
YES IT WASHe's not necessarily wrong in his comments even if a lot of people don't agree with them
He's going to have to improve as a passer once the hits start adding up and defenses start figuring out how to slow him down. It wasn't meant to be a slight at him when some people on The Coli have said the same.
Also, Dan Orlovsky should be the last person critiquing someone else's comments out here when he's made those type of comments himself about Justin Fields
Only when comparing him to Tom Brady, otherwise he's considered the goat so leave the cocaine aloneEven bringing up Manning is disingenuous seeing as he gets shyt still to this day for his postseason record compared to his regular season success.
I agree.
Peyton gets ZERO mentions as the greatest. He called his own plays and every week it seemed like he would destroy teams but he kept losing these game in the playoffs.
25 greatest in history, Peyton is #2Manning is considered to be one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time. He was named the NFL's most valuable player a record five times (four times with the Colts, once with the Broncos), was named to the Pro Bowl a record 14 times, and named a first-team All-Pro seven times
The only expectation is for them to compete for a championship each season. Aaron Rodgers won it all quickly, Hasn't won shyt since, when he doesn't win it again this season will you be like let's move on from him? They aren't MVP QBs that's the difference.......
That accelerates the timeline and puts pressure on him to have postseason success whether people or The Coli want to admit or not. Succeed breeds expectations and accelerates timelines and we talk about it in other sports all the time.
On Friday, we learned that ESPN NFL analyst Jeremy Fowler thinks Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson might be under more pressure than we think heading into his fourth season.
There are a lot of people around the league that I speak to … they say this might be the year that everybody figures out Lamar Jackson,” Fowler said on Get Up!.
Fellow ESPN analyst and former NFL defensive back Ryan Clark was shocked at Fowler’s argument and couldn’t hide his disbelief on the air. It seems like other media members are skeptical as well.
Who they fukk is Jeremy Fowler has he ever played sports so sick of these fukking cacs making a living talking about shyt they know nothing about.
That's like me speaking on the medical field and I have no experience. Then they always throw that around the league shyt to hide they bullshyt comments.
We just started to really invest into wrs and the passing game this past off season. Roman is great at run schemes but our route combinations and play calling were terrible and we have no dynamic 1 WR on the outside at this point, and now our receivers are having injuries during camp and preseason so we’ll see.
NBA media is trash. I don't let what they discuss speak on the game. Your dumb ass is letting some nobody CAC color an entire sport. It's not even comparable, this is how people in the sport feel, the coaches, the scouts
you're a coward if you say other wise
YES IT WAS
Only when comparing him to Tom Brady, otherwise he's considered the goat so leave the cocaine alone
or if you Google him...
25 greatest in history, Peyton is #2
25 Greatest Quarterbacks in NFL History
The only expectation is for them to compete for a championship each season. Aaron Rodgers won it all quickly, Hasn't won shyt since, when he doesn't win it again this season will you be like let's move on from him?
Wait, you work for the Packers bruh?
They can criticize but if someone white says something its a problem even if they've said the same. Some of these dudes too inconsistent. The irony in this thread is that a lot of dudes are caping for Lamar Jackson's lack of postseason success in spite of his MVP, yet gave Giannis shyt for his until the moment that they won the championship
I just hate that they never circle back to hold that well deserved L when they are proven wrong... that would require some kind of integrity. He will just move on to the next hit piece like nothing even happened.
Yeah but y'all saying crazy shyt like Peyton doesn't get respect.Where did I say that the Ravens should move on from Lamar Jackson if he keeps failing in the postseason
There are better GOAT QBs better than Peyton outside of Brady and even you know that.......
Yeah but y'all saying crazy shyt like Peyton doesn't get respect.
And this threads topic, Lamar getting figured out, even your reasoning is fake which shows you don't have a reason other than because he's a brother man. What is your reason for co signing? Because he'll eventually slow down. So you're not saying them figure out anything, you're saying he'll get hurt and will then have to play like a non mobile QB. So he can't pass from the pocket you think?
To be continued...
