And in spite of all of that, he's a two time MVP even with those weapons that people pick and choose which week to complain about them.

MVP's awards accelerate timelines and expectations to perform in the playoffs when it matters most and he isn't the exception to that nor should people act like it is.
It does accelerate but his coaching staff to me is not on the level of some other staffs

Derrick Henry has to be the foundation

That OC has difficulty in understanding this for some reason and its frustrating

Yet in spite of all of that, he's still won two MVP's and they've had regular season success over the years including last season when they had the best record in the league. What you're saying doesn't change that fact.

We're out here slandering other QBs whose accomplished less, so we're not about to pick and choose when and what excuses apply to QBs.

I have been getting shyt from people trying to defend Justin Fields because the Steelers started 3-0.
Here are his passing yards...

Week 1: 156 yards vs ATL
Week 2: 117 yards vs DEN
Week 3: 245 yards vs LAC
Week 4: 312 yards vs IND
Week 5: 131 yards vs DAL

Yes, he does have a 67.6% completion percentage. They're not asking him to win you games. They're asking him not to lose games.
This might be the best way to utilize him because the Steelers simply do not have the talent at QB to be a serious contending football team.

The problem is, how confident are you that this strategy can work if you have to face the Chiefs, Bengals, Ravens, Texans or Bills in January?

Pittsburgh faces the Raiders next week -- possibly without Davante Adams -- so I guess they'll be looking at a 4-2 start, which is good on paper. But you have to be concerned about the bigger picture here if you're a Steelers fan. I mean if George Pickens gets hurt, you've got nothing. So what's the answer here? I don't think it's Fields or Wilson. And this team won't be bad enough to draft Top 5 and do a full rebuild (frankly, I don't think Mike Tomlin would be down for that anyway). Pittsburgh is in a sort of Sports Purgatory. Not bad enough to justify blowing it up, but not good enough to be a real threat either. Also...and this is the most disgusting one...they hired Arthur Smith...who is fukking terrible.

He cannot do it alone

No QB can win a SB with a trash coaching staff

John Harbaugh is someone who doesn't want to get Lamar a big time WR for some reason. He needs at least one WR he can trust and he doesn't have it. I like #80 but Lamar still doesn't have that guy on the outside that he can trust.

The OC doesn't understand that you can run and throw.

He doesn't know how to call games with Henry as the focal point to set up play action

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
One big play can change EVERYTHING

Broncos were about to be down 3-17

And maybe on their way to a ninth consecutive loss to the Raiders

But PS2 intercepted a bad throw at the goal line and took it to the house to tie it up :yayo:

And from there the Broncos offense turned up and they outscored the Raiders 24-8 (Kobe) to snap the eight-game losing streak

All those excuses you're using, yet that still hasn't stopped them from having regular season success over the years and the best record in the league last season.

You can't continue to hype up regular season success to start juelzing come playoff time as we slander other teams for the exact same thing.

You're proving my point without realizing it.

My dawg Jameis need that start next week
Stefanski said he isn't benching Watson, it has to be due to his contract because nothing about his play warrants him having the starting job.

Jameis IMO would at least provide a spark to the offense. It's clear as day whatever Watson had in Houston is gone and it's not coming back
