I don't have a definitve thought but it's worth a question IMO.

At what point do we question if the 49ers are just front runners because every single time they've faced adversity this season, they've folded. I realize this question might sound asinine but I'm asking because they've either won by 13+ or lost outright. No in-between.

We've seen Kyle Shanahan get tight and make questionable decisions in postseason games & many people still see Brock Purdy as a guy who you can't trust to throw you back into a game. The 49ers were seen as a shoe-in to win the NFC but things could get tight in a close game. Like Brock really hasn't been in a close game where he's had to throw his way back into it......he's barely been in negative game scripts where the opposing team had the lead.

I'm not a 9ers fan but let's not overreact. How many teams can do what we did to them? Other than the Vikings, all 3 of their losses are against teams that would give everyone in the NFC problems. They should still walk to the championship game. The only team I think they need to be concerned about is the Rams.

Yeah I don't want to overreact but the defense doesn't look the same and the offensive line has issues. What happens with Trent Williams? I still think the 49ers are favorites but in a sport where we have just 17 games we don't have much to go off on so I think it's fair to ask these questions.

I think if they run it back with the Eagles or Cowboys, those will be closer games and given Shanahan's track record in close games in the postseason, it's a concern especially with Purdy back there. I like Purdy but he's literally only had to play games from in front most of his career. What happens if they're down 10-0 in a postseason game, do you trust him to throw you back into a game? It feels like this team has always had a positive game script where they're playing from in front but that could change in the postseason.

This is what I’ve been saying about Purdy. I like him too, but he hasn’t won win trailing.

The concerning thing about the 49ers is that this Ravens team has blown leads to everyone. They simply cannot close games and they pretty much shut the door in this 49ers team after the half. I hate to weigh one game so heavily but that entire second half I was waiting for the Ravens to blow it and it just never happened.

When you combine that with the fact that this team really hasn't faced adverisity all year, it's hard for me to pretend this loss was nothing.

What have we learned?

The Boys still have serious problems on the Road (Losing record)
Purdy is still young at end of the day but when he gets behind, he has a hard time coming back and winning
49ers aren't the unstoppable machine as the Media says they are.
Miami does have a shot at the #1 Seed but have to beat the Ravens
Bmore remains the most Dangerous team in the AFC until proven otherwise
The Chiefs have definitely taken a step back this season overall but don't count them out just yet
The AFC South will come down to the last week with all teams 8-7.
The NFC South winner may have a losing record but Baker and the Bucs are in position to take it
Flacco has the Browns looking a little dangerous heading to the playoffs with that Defense.
No matter what, the Lions have had a Historic Year by winning the Division for the first time in 30 years
The Philadelphia Eagles were the only Home team to win on Christmas

No he wouldn't, Brady posted one of the lowest QBR's of his career last year. He knew it was time
One of the highest completion percentages and higher qbr than his last NE season :jbhmm:

Would you call him done in 2013 when he had a lower and one of the lowest qbr's of his career? or 2018?

Why do people make such simple statements in relation to stats, just saying no he wouldn't would be enough :mjlol:

Out in the Lakes
1. Who knows who will make it to the super bowl

2. Following teams need new coaches, The entire NFC SOUTH( but bowles might get another year), Washington, The Giants, Chicago, Arizona ( yes 1 and done), The Jets, The Pats,

3. Antonio Pierce should be the raiders coach.. but as usual a big name white coordinator will get the job and Pierce will be back as a coordinator somewhere else..

4. This league has a QB issue from starters to backups, and they talking about not paying RBs

5. Baltimore is the class of the AFC, but it depends what week they want to show up

I keep hearing this yet buffalo out here struggling against the Chargers and almost loss to the broken ass Chiefs. Miami the only team in the AFC ( the team I root for) they can honestly beat on a playoff game bc they seem to have our number.
The bills of the Josh Allen era get a level of clout that we normally see only for HC/QBs who have won titles. It’s so weird, these dudes have never won shyt that matters

Because Brady was 45, and you have nothing to support your statement. At some point it's just over, if Brady thought he still had the juice he'd still be out there. Dude didn't even hesitate to call that shyt quits and even immediately bought stake in an NFL team (Vegas) not named the Tampa Bay Bucs which pretty much gave him zero shot at returning.

And you couldn't even get your stats right. It was literally the lowest QBR he had posted since they started tracking QBR going back all the way to 2006 with the same cast of characters Mayfield is playing well with. Brady before last year had never posted anything below a 55. He posted a 54 QBR at 45 years old and quickly retired as soon as the season was over.

Why do people make such shytty hot takes when there's plenty of evidence to suggest that not even Brady believes that nonsense.

The MVP award changes from week to week and is going to come down to who fukks up the least these couple of weeks of the season. If Lamar can be even average next week against the Dolphins and they wrap up the #1 seed, then the the award is his unless he stinks up the joint and then it's going to pivot again.
