A GOAT level passing season on a playoff team? They’re gonna go 12-5. The other competition is a RB, two QBS who aren’t the driving forces of their teams and a QB who he outclasses statistically in Allen.
Brees in 2008 for example was on a 8-8 team.
The precedent has already been set that team record and winning your division matters when it comes to MVP voting, so it's a bit unfair now to try and change that narrative.
It sucks, but that's the precedent and narrative that people have created when placing emphasis on certain aspects more than others.
